This course, which has a strong molecular biology component, will enable qualified /trainee haematologists to update their knowledge and skills on the management and molecular genetics of blood diseases. Due to the hands-on and intensive nature of the molecular biology practical exercises, laboratory spaces for these will be limited. Participants unable to secure any of the available places will have the option of not taking part in practicals; at a reduced course fee.

Prostate Cancer: Epidemiology, Diagnostic Evaluation, and Treatment

This course provides an overview of the burden of prostate cancer, the modalities aiding in the detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer, and provides an understanding of a risk-based treatment approach for patients diagnosed with prostate cancer. Odedina, PhD, B.Pharm developed this course.  The course is free for Florida healthcare professionals through the Florida Department of Health scholarship program.
